Hey y’all! Hope everyone’s quarantine life is getting better! I fortunately get to continue working my day job. We are actually working more now than ever trying to supply medical products for those who need it! Interested? Comment below! In the midst of this crazy time, Pink Lily sent me the cutest items to feature here! I chose all pink things because I have just really been loving this color. I chose 2 casual pieces and 2 dresses. All super cute and prefect for Spring and Summer.

First is this “be kind” graphic tee. It is a cropped fit, but I sized up to a medium for a more comfortable fit. I love the light pink color with the white writing. It is so simple and so cute. I wanted to do something a little bit different on this post due to all of the life change happening, so I am adding a little self-love tip: this shirt says “be kind,” but it isn’t just a message to tell others, it is also a message to tell yourself. When I was taking all of these pictures in this tee I hated them all. I was critiquing my body, my smile, my face… everything. It took me a while to even choose which picture I liked for this tee. Be kind to yourself, too.

This dress was one of my favorite pieces I received from the Pink Lily. This maxi dress is so flattering. I love the crochet detail at the top and the open back. I am in a small and it fits TTS. I actually have a dress just like this one that is a really pretty yellow that I wore on my honeymoon. This dress is perfect to wear to a girl baby shower, a wedding, or could even be worn on Easter. When I got this dress, I was set on wearing it for a wedding we were supposed to go to in early April. So my next positive thought for you is: Things happen for a reason. Plans change. The only one with control of what we have going on is God, so there is no reason to worry when things don’t go as expected. No matter what plans you had that have been cancelled, God has something full of joy on the other side of this virus.

OMG! When I got this sweatshirt I was in love. It is so buttery soft on the inside and out; the color is a really pretty mauve pink. I just love everything about it. I sized up to a medium for a comfy fit, but I think you could stick to your true size. This is the perfect sweatshirt to lounge around in or even throw on with jeans and sneakers for a casual look. I have found myself wearing looks like this one so much during quarantine and part of me loves it and the other part of me hates it. It makes me feel so lazy. A little encouragement for everyone: This is a great time to spring clean and get yourself into a routine of keeping your house picked-up. Some days during this time you just need to get ready and put some jeans and shoes on and it will make you just feel like doing something productive (at least this is how I feel).

So this next dress is a style I never saw myself wearing, but when I put it on I loved it! It is a peachy-colored midi dress. I am wearing a small and it fits TTS. I love the three little ruffled layers. This dress is a great option to wear out to dinner on a beach vacation with some cute sandals or wedges. I think it is a little more casual, but can definitely be dressed up with the right accessories and shoes. As I mentioned, this is a style I didn’t think I would like. My next life tip for you is: try new things and don’t be afraid to fail! Don’t doubt yourself so much that you don’t want to try to do something. It doesn’t have to be trying a new style of clothes, it could be running a mile or exercising for the first time in a long time, or even decorating your house a new way. Just believe in yourself.

The last piece I wanted to share with y’all is this super cute muted pink swim suit. I am wearing a medium in the top and bottoms and it fits TTS. I think I could’ve got a small in the top, but it may have been too snug. I love the simplicity of this suit with the white band on the top and bottoms. The last little tip I wanted to share is embrace changes: I have not always looked like this and I am actually at my heaviest ever. Even though that is the case for me, I am learning to embrace and love my body through the changes. I am also making changes in my eating and exercising habits. I started running last week and every time I step out to run I know I am benefiting myself. Regardless if you are experiencing change in your life right now or your body, embrace it for what it is and do things to better yourself through the changes.
I hope you loved all of these pink pieces and my little tips for you through this time in our world. You can shop all of these looks below or head over to Pink Lily Boutique here: https://pinklily.com/?aff=124
