Hey y’all! I cannot believe it has been a whole year of Life With A Side of Laurel. When I started I never thought I would gain a love for blogging like I have. I never thought I would have so many opportunities to work with amazing brands that I love. It has been an awesome experience. I have gained a lot of “blogger friends” who I feel like I can connect with so much. It is honestly an awesome community to be a part of. A year ago I was just doing something for fun. I was afraid to even start, but my husband and besties definitely pushed me to get this going. I am so thankful for them.
The above picture was my first “about me” picture. I am so glad for the things I have learned about myself and my fashion over these 365 days. This look above isn’t terrible, but definitely not my best. We all start somewhere. If anyone is reading this who is afraid to take that step into whatever it is you’re passionate about or have a goal to start, just do it. In the beginning it is not always pretty, or edited well, or with a perfect background, but it’s a start and you will learn as you go.
This look below was one of my first blog posts with Pink Lily. It is pretty cool to think that the clothes I was already buying would come gifted from this brand. I am so proud to be a Pink Lily Ambassador. I love working with them, getting gifted some cute clothes, and being involved with the girls who are ambassadors along side me. As I already mentioned, the first blog posts are not the prettiest or in the best locations, but it just took taking a few pictures and getting them uploaded to start.
I am more excited for year 2 of Life With A Side of Laurel. Hopefully I can be a more consistent blogger and give you, my readers, at least 1-2 posts a week. I plan on more giveaways from me personally just for following me! I love the support from my girls and my local followers too. This year my goals are to give you more outfit inspirations, more home decor/renovating tips, more workouts, and more recipes. I also love the Lord and plan on sharing my story on here when I am ready. Thank you for all of those who have been here since the beginning of Life With A Side of Laurel!
Enjoy Life With A Side of Laurel
