If your life is anything like mine, you are always on the go. Life is in full-speed most of the time and there isn’t much time to really wrap your mind around what is happening in this moment right now. It is really hard to slow down once you have a fast-paced routine. I have realized that it is okay to sleep in on a Saturday, not go to the gym every day of the week, and do almost nothing on a lazy Sunday! It is okay to rest and breathe and just reflect (or not) on what life is really throwing you. Just because you take a breath and slow down does not make you lazy!
I am so blessed to have a loving family and loving husband to support me in everything I have ever decided to do. Achieving your goals and dreams is super important to strive for, but you can’t push yourself so hard that you actually miss what is going on around you. Work, going to the gym, and having a weekend full of plans is so fun and can be so rewarding to spend lots of time with your friends, but if you never take a breath you will run out of energy!
With that being said, I am going to be doing 1-3 blog posts per week. I want to deliver content that is worth reading that I don’t rush to get up on a post at a certain time every day. I want to grow a following that can’t wait to see what I post next and is ready for me to post again. I don’t want to become a monotonous voice that keeps posting the same things and loses readers because it is too much.
I am also going to be focusing my blog a lot on fashion more than anything. I will still incorporate fitness and food and what is going on in my life, but my main passion to find and share is fashion! I love clothes, I love finding deals, and sharing that with an audience that is just as interested in it just as much as I am! The topic of fashion will be my main posts; I will do a few mini-posts with other topics! I can’t wait to really find my voice and spot in this niche of style blogging. I hope you stick around for this journey on all of my fashion finds coming soon!
Enjoy Life With A Side of Laurel!
