It has been a busy week already and it is only Wednesday! When you are as busy as we have been, quick food choices are best. My husband and I made a chicken in the crock pot earlier this week, and it makes it so easy to come home and dinner is ready! You can do the same for breakfast with overnight oats.
There are so many different recipes out there for the best overnight oats, but it is all up to you! Choose a dairy, fruits, sweeteners/flavors, toppings, and healthy add-ins are optional. I’ve link a pinterest chart here to show you just some of the endless options! Below are the ingredients I prefer and the steps I take to make the best overnight oats!
- Tupperware with Lid
- Oats (1 cup)
- Chia Seeds (2 tbsp)
- Protein (1 scoop)
- Frozen Strawberries (1/2 cup)
- Honey (1 tbsp)
- Almond Milk (1 cup)
It is that easy! Mix all of the ingredients, put it in your fridge overnight (3-4 days max), and enjoy in the morning on the go! This is such a healthy, delicious breakfast option that actually fills you up. It is so easy and you can even prepare multiple bowls for the work week of different flavors. My next flavor to try will be a peanut butter and banana bowl! For more recipes, click here!
