So I decided to switch it up today and give you one of my favorite ideas for a healthy breakfast! My husband and I love going to Charleston and there’s a place there called Page’s Okra Grill.
It is so good and always crowded when we go- so everything is good! My husband loves their chicken livers, but I go with a little more of a traditional breakfast food. Their egg while omelette called the “Oh My Gosh” omelet. You can see below the ingredients. It is so delicious!
I fell in love with this omelet, so I decided I wanted to make it at home. You can buy these ingredients at the store. You can personalize it more with adding some ingredients or removing those you aren’t as fond of. I always get:
- Baby Spinach
- Black Olives
- Feta Cheese
- Onions (I do white instead of red)
- Add mushrooms! They are so good and add a little more flavor.
I always sauté the vegetables first. Then I pour the egg whites over them. When it gets close to being done, I will add the feta cheese and fold it over. It is amazing and such a healthy, hearty breakfast!
